Deputy Inspector

Overview: As a member of the Centeva team, you will help us in effective budget planning and spending for one of our Federal Government projects. You will conduct reviews of budget proposals and analyses of data to determine the correct allocation of funding.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Lead Inspector in providing overall direction to and management of the audit, investigative, inspections, evaluations, strategic planning, and support activities. As such, reviews the activities, strategic and annual operating plans, and programs and policies and various reporting operating segments. Advises the Lead Inspector as to the progress of such operating programs and recommends changes in policy, program intent, and operating procedures to the office's mission effectiveness.
  • Subject matter expertise and, especially initially, build the capacity of the total team around inspections
  • Assist the Lead Inspector in the Conduct of all inspections
  • Participate in all out briefs, hot washes and After Action Reports
  • In states where there are two simultaneous inspections, Deputy Inspector leads the second inspection team.
  • Quality review and documentation
  • Finalizes TAG briefing

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of previous experience as a Deputy Inspector
  • Bachelor’s  Degree, preferably in Business or a technical field
  • Ability to confidently communicate to and advise senior management
