Budget Analyst

Overview: As a member of the Centeva team, you will help us in effective budget planning and spending for one of our Federal Government projects. You will conduct reviews of budget proposals and analyses of data to determine the correct allocation of funding.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with program and project managers to develop the organization's budget
  • Review managers' budget proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with laws and other regulations
  • Help the chief operations officer, agency head, or other top managers analyze proposed plans and find alternatives if the projected results are unsatisfactory
  • Monitor organizational spending to ensure that it is within budget
  • Inform program managers of the status and availability of funds
  • Will handle budget to include invoicing to the government as well as all travel arrangements and expenses
  • Estimate future financial needs

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of previous experience as a Budget Analyst
  • Bachelor’s  Degree, preferably in Business or a technical field
  • Ability to confidently communicate to and advise senior management
