Grants and Agreements Specialist II

We're looking for a Grant and Agreements Specialist to join our team and help deliver incredible results to one of our Federal Government clients


  • Provide support to manage supervise, lead, or perform administrative business, policy, and analytical work involving: the management, award, and/or obligation of funds for grants and interagency agreements, using financial, administrative, business and negotiation procedures
  • Provide support to evaluate the competitive or non-competitive evaluation of grants proposals
  • Provide expertise for the planning, implementation and evaluation of grant proposals and provide guidance on interagency agreements
  • Provide support to negotiate, award, and review all reimbursement requests for appropriateness, and ensure that awardees are in compliance with established administrative and financial policies, procedures, and sound business practices
  • Provide support to monitor all phases of award and closing, including assessment of technical progress and performance
  • Apply analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification and resolution of grants administration issues and knowledge of laws, regulations, agency policy, precedent cases, and other requirements that affect grant program administration
  • Provide support for the administration or termination, and/or closeout of grants and/or grants assistance and agreement awards
  • Ensure Compliance with laws, regulations, rules, policies, procedures, and methods governing the administration of Federal grants, cooperative agreements, and awards


  • Four (4) years Grant and Agreement experience based on the Grant Management Series 1109 (GS-1109) Qualification Standard of which one year was equivalent to a GS-11 in the Federal Service
  • A Masters Degree in Business or Technical Field or an LL B. or JD
  • Experience in automated systems and software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications.
